The ambiance at Physis is absolutely enchanting. I felt at home the moment I arrived. Juliet and Matt, the hosts, genuinely made our stay special. Their tips on local dining and beaches led us to hidden gems we wouldn't have discovered on our own. Breakfast on the veranda with jungle views was a favorite moment, and each meal was made with care. The honeymoon suite felt spacious and offered a lovely sense of privacy, surrounded by nature. Plant life surrounding the property added to the beauty, creating a tranquil escape. However, I noticed that the bedding felt a bit lower quality than expected, which was a minor disappointment. While the communal areas were cozy, a few more hammocks would have enhanced relaxation. There was no daily cleaning of the room, which caught me off guard. I had to ask for fresh towels, which was a little inconvenient. All in all, I appreciate how attentive and accommodating Juliet was, especially when I accidentally left behind important documents. She kindly mailed them to my next destination, showing true hospitality. I can’t wait to visit again.

A refreshing retreat from the crowd

Waking up to the sound of waves was a dream. The hosts, Matt and Juliet, made every breakfast a delightful experience. Their suggestions led us to beautiful natural spots that were peaceful and rejuvenating.

While the access road is rugged, which may require a 4x4, it becomes a part of the adventure. A few more hammocks in the common areas would enhance the relaxation vibe.

The ambiance is warm and charming with cozy wooden interiors. It’s just a 5-minute walk to a fantastic surf beach, and restaurants are conveniently nearby. There’s a great breakfast service that really enhances the stay.

Wi-Fi connectivity was a bit spotty during my nights there.

The space in the bedroom really felt a bit cramped!!! A larger, more comfortable bed setup could improve the experience. Some amenities were basic and didn't feel aligned with the price point!!! It's worth considering more recreational areas!!!

The owners were super friendly, always ready with suggestions for where to eat or explore. Breakfast was unique, can't beat homemade vanilla cinnamon pancakes in a lush garden.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the quality was still pretty okay.

Had an amazing group trip with friends! The breakfast was top-notch, and the atmosphere made hanging out super fun. We enjoyed biking around and loved the nearby beach. The hosts were incredibly helpful with whatever we needed. Don't miss exploring local dining spots and the beautiful jungle views during breakfast!

One downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent during our stay, making it tough to stay connected at times.

Had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was truly beautiful and delicious (especially loved the eggs over easy! ). Super welcoming atmosphere with plenty of hammocks to relax. The location is perfect, just a 10-min walk to the beach and nearby grocery store!
